Leadership 100: On the Path to Leadership- This is a FREE course offered by OREA.
As part of WIDREB's 2019 Strategic Plan-Enhancing Professional Development Opportunities the Board of Directors would like offer this FREE course to our members who have not already taken it.
This course is for you if you currently volunteer or are thinking about volunteering with WIDREB or in the community you live in! You will discover what it takes to be a volunteer at a real estate board or any association or club. You will learn about the roles, responsibilities and skills require to excel in volunteering.
COURSE TOPICS INCLUDE
- How organized real estate is structured
- The various leadership roles in a real estate association
- The responsibilities of volunteer committee and task force members
- How elected leaders work with association staff
- How decisions are made and carried out
- How to effectively participate in meetings
- How to balance your time as a volunteer
This Course is about 1 hr in length and can be taken at any time. This is a great course for volunteerism and education for leadership roles.
